Software-only Language Teaching System
SANAKO Study 1200 is language teaching software that meets any institution’s demand for teaching technology that is
lightweight, dynamic, scalable and fully modern. The software is built on the Microsoft .NET Framework
to provide compatibility with current and future versions of Microsoft operating systems.
This language teaching software is also modular, allowing teachers to install modules that introduce additional teaching
or learning activities, or even classroom management or administrative functions.
SANAKO Study 1200 provides schools with an affordable, flexible licensing system that ensures schools have exactly the
resources they need for IT-based teaching. This flexible licensing system helps schools make the most of their IT
infrastructure while avoiding expensive over-licensing.
Study 1200 allows teachers to incorporate Internet and IT
resources into language learning and offers voice and text-based
communication tools to help students interact as much as possible
in the target language, with the teacher as well as with their peers.
To maintain control of this exciting interactive learning environment,
Study 1200 puts a number of classroom management and student
monitoring resources into teachers hands-they remain at the center of learning.
SANAKO Study 1200 provides students with intensive listening and
voice-based activities. Its digital recorder allows for the playback
of material for activities such as listening comprehension and also
allows students to record their voices for activities such as model imitation, reading practice and mark-to-speak drills.
Along with the student voice graph which maps voice intonation and inflexion, these activities support student self-
evaluation and self-correction.
Mobility and Enhanced Classroom Collaboration in SANAKO Study 1200
The latest version of SANAKO Study 1200 allows customers to make use of SANAKO Study Mobile Module and provides
integration with Microsoft Office OneNote.
Version 4.00 of Study software is required for schools to make use of Study Mobile Module. Study Mobile Module
combines the mobility and flexibility of the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet with the classroom management capabilities of
SANAKO Study 500.
With the Study Mobile Module client installed on their mobile devices, students can join the Study learning session. Once
students log in to the class, they appear in the teacher’s interface. The teacher can then conduct a routine Study session,
using the software to monitor student activity, launch files, lock devices, conduct web tours and distribute assignments.
Microsoft OneNote is a tool for note taking, information gathering and multi-user collaboration. Used with SANAKO
Study 500 and Study 1200, the application allows teachers to easily distribute their classroom notes to students in the
Study live learning session with a single mouse click.
