Grant writing tips:
- Follow the funder's directions and rules completely if you want your proposal to be read and considered
- Your project must closely match the interests of the funder
- Focus your proposal on meeting the needs of students and/or teachers
- Check proposal closely for typos and grammar errors before submission
- Be specific in stating your case.
- Be succinct as to why it is so important for your students to learn a language and how it will benefit them
- Your objective must be specific and correlate to your evaluation activities
- Grant proposal reviewers can easily spot proposals that were put together in haste.
- Take plenty of time to put together your proposal
